Bank of America made a significant financial donation to Bright Ideas Trust in 2008. The funding covers operational costs and investments in businesses which we support. Bank of America is also providing a variety of in kind support, including help with our recruitment, event organisation and use of its premises for meetings and workshops.
“Bank of America is proud to be working with Bright Ideas Trust as part of our new strategy for community investment. The bank’s partnership will enable us to play our part in empowering young people in London.”
- Jonathan Moulds, President of Bank of America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Building on a long-standing tradition of investing in the communities it serves, Bank of America will embark in 2009 on a new, ten-year goal to donate US$2 billion to non-profit organisations engaged in improving the health and vitality of their neighbourhoods. Bank of America’s charitable strategy in the UK is the myPotential myCommunity myEnvironment™ programme. Through this programme the bank will invest to build skills, unlock and nurture talent and increase entrepreneurialism in individuals, organisations and businesses in the UK.
Because of the support from Bank of America, Bright Ideas Trust has been able to develop, with the creation of this website, our Bright Idea Borough campaign in Hackney, the recruitment of our Management Team, as well as supporting young entrepreneurs to develop their own successful businesses.
